The pub reopened on 19th May 2026 and serves at least two, and usually three, cask ales. Food is served from lunchtimes until the evening, please see the pub's website for full details. Various events are held, as described on the pub's Facebook page. The pub has a private function room and a large garden with a children's play area. Opening hours and food service times may vary from time to time and visitors may wish to confirm them with the pub if necessary.

The building retains many original beams. The core of the building is thought to date from the 16th century, with major 18th & 19th century alterations.
