A substantial single bar pub built in 1913 to replace an earlier building destroyed by fire. The large garden leads down to the river Deben and provides an excellent location to spend some time on sunny days.

For the first few weeks after reopening it will be drinks only, with food following after that, and accommodation will become available later on.
