The Salutation is a historic town-centre pub, which was extensively renovated in 2018. It is convenient for those attending the Regent Theatre. Recently (September 2026) re-commenced serving cask ale (one changing beer). Opening Hours and Food Service times should be confirmed with the pub if appropriate. Please refer to the pub's Facebook page for details of the current live music (some of which has been relocated from the closed Swan and Hedgehog (as at September 2026)) and other events.
