The Arbor House is a stylish single bar pub close to the Ipswich Museum and a short walk from the Tower Ramparts Bus Station. It is popular for its food as well as beer choice. Three or four cask ales from independent local or regional brewers are generally available. There are also several draft craft/keg ales, as well as a selection of craft cans and quality bottled foreign beers. CAMRA members are given a discount upon the purchase of cask ales upon production of a valid membership card. The pub also offers an enclosed patio/garden area to rear and an upstairs function room (which may be hired). Opening and food service hours may change from time to time and visitors may wish to confirm them with the pub.

The pub was originally called the Arboretum. It was renamed in 2016. The name derives from the nearby arboretum (tree garden) in Christchurch Park.
