The Arbor House is a stylish single bar pub close to the Ipswich Museum and a short walk from the Tower Ramparts Bus Station. A discount is given to CAMRA members for the purchase of cask ales upon production of a valid membership card. It is popular for its food as well as beer choice. There are generally three or four cask beers available; sometimes one of which is a seasonal ale from a local or regional brewer. There are also several craft keg ales on tap, as well as a large selection of craft cans. The pub also offers an enclosed patio/garden area to rear and a function room upstairs. The pub was originally called the Arboretum. It was renamed in 2016. The name derives from the nearby arboretum (tree garden) in Christchurch Park.
