A timber framed pub with quarry-tiled floors and a separate restaurant (it is popular for its food). The bar also features a wood-burner and a real fire. There are regular themed food nights and music. Please see the pub's Facebook page for details of these events. Opening and food service hours maay change from time to time and visitors may wish to confirm them with the pub if appropriate.

There are plans plans to add a shop and other facilities. IT IS ADVISABLE TO BOOK FOR FOOD IN ADVANCE. The pub is run by a community-interest company on behalf of the village and is located at the far-western edge of the village, almost in Little Finborough.
