Now a large steak-grill and motel and caters for residents and many local diners. For a long while this was a small, late drinking venue located just outside Ipswich town borough (and was particularly popular when Ipswich pubs still closed at 10.30pm). Breakfast served Mon-Fri 6:30-10:30am & Sat&Sun 7-11am

Although this establishment was expected to close in September as part of Whitbread's large-scale cull of pubs, it is reported to have been acquired by the newly-formed Queensway Hospitality Group and will be turned into a "value pub". More information when we have it.
