It is community pub with three football teams, four darts team,a flourishing golf society, and shooting societies. Outdoor drinking and live music can be enjoyed in the terraced garden set on three levels. An annual "Bricket Wood Stock" festival takes places every Sunday afternoon in July and August. Charity pub quiz last Thursday of the month and Friday night "Play Your Cards Right", also a charity event. Most major sporting events also televised across five large television screens, one being outdoors in the smoking area, heated by a very impressive outdoor fire.
