Following a vote to disaffiliate from the Royal British Legion, the social club has been re-named the Fox & Hounds Social Club in reference to the pub's original name in the 17th Century. There is a modern extension at the rear of the property that doubles as a function room, but the pub's character can be seen in the features of the original building. This is a members club, but the club welcomes non-members into the Members Bar simply by signing the Visitors Book. Non-members may be asked to pay £1 for temporary membership of the Club.
