All the Sawston pubs are grade II listed and the Greyhound sets the tone as the first (and largest) pub on the High Street. Exposed wood is very much in evidence. Always busy and very popular for food. It has lunchtime, main and Sunday menus. Ale is not the priority, but the drinker is by no means ignored and whilst the beer range may not excite the beers are always well kept After several changes of tenant/manager, in spring 2016 the Greyhound was taken on by the Peterborough based Venture Pub Company. It underwent a refurb and reopened 3rd February 2018. New managers arrived in February 2020.
