On the site of a historic watermill it was rebuilt, following a fire, in 1853 and still retains a turning waterwheel. In the 1980s it became Sweeney Todd's pizza house and in 2000 a Bella Italia. In October 2016 it reopened as Millworks, part of the Cambscuisine group. Primarily a restaurant it has a small drinking area just inside the door. It offers a locally brewed house cask ale, Badger's Nadgers from Papworth brewery as well as keg beers including OTT brewed for the CambsCuisine by local BrewBoard brewery.
