Large roadside pub occupying an attractive building which dates from the 17th century. A small bare-boarded public bar has unusual carved wooden pictures on one wall and Simon Drew prints elsewhere. The big main room serves as a restaurant. The Queen's Head was 1 of 275 pubs purchased in June 2014 from Greene King by Hawthorn Leisure, now part of Admiral Taverns. Beer supplies now come via Matthew Clark. Three cask ales. On 22nd August 2016, following a refurbishment, the Queen's Head reopened primarily as Thai restaurant run by the people who formerly ran the Three Horseshoes (also in Harston, now closed). Thai food six days a week. Sunday roasts. Closed on bank holidays.
