Large roadside pub occupying an attractive building which dates from the 17th century. A small bare-boarded public bar has unusual carved wooden pictures on one wall and Simon Drew prints elsewhere. The big main room serves as a restaurant. The a la carte menu has strong fish and veggie options and most mains are in the £8.95-£12.95 range - daily specials board as well.Food served until 9.30pm. The Queen's Head is 1 of 275 pubs purchased in June 2014 from Greene King by Hawthorn Leisure. Beer supplies now come via Matthew Clark. Three cask ales. On 22nd August 2016, following a refurbishment, the Queen's Head reopened primarily as Thai restaurant run by the people who formerly ran the Three Horseshoes (also in Harston, now closed). Some details may now be inaccurate.
