A traditional country pub that for several years has also been a destination for lovers of Thai food. The area to the left is set aside for diners although the pub's small size and popularity means that the drinking area might also be busy with diners. Greene King IPA and Adnam's Southwold Bitter are regulars. The two other ales may include ones from local breweries. Formerly the Navigator, it was purchased in summer 2024 by a local computer games businessman and reopened as the Side Quest at the end of January 2025. The pub has been extended into its former kitchen with a new kitchen having been built as an extension. Initially they will sell drinks with a limited food offering. A full menu will be offered from March.
