Former Tolly Cobbold pub built in the late 1950s (opened by Lord Tollemache in November 1959) when it was known as the Weathervane. Subsequently renamed the Master Mariner before becoming the Med "Mediterranean Bar & Grill" in 2010. One time home of Turpins microbrewery, which later moved to larger premises in Pampisford. In 2019 it underwent renovations reopening in August as Dumpling Tree, a family run Chinese restaurant specialising in authentic south western Chinese cuisine and a pub. Two handpumps, although real ale is often unavailable. In 2026 it ceased offering cask ales altogether.
