See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Former coaching inn. Although opened out, the long narrow interior here retains three distinct drinking spaces, including a lively front area. The long bar in the middle section has been moved from the right to the left to increase the behind bar space. The rear section contains a dartboard and pool table. Free pool on Tuesdays and Sundays. There are historic village photos on the walls plus an account of the Cottenham Gulpers (village chaps were once so well known for their supping that they earned this appellation). The sun-trap courtyard garden behind has heaters, large HD Plasma TVs and a sofa area. Borders in the garden are fashioned from boxes from local fruit and vegetable producer PF Franklin. There is step-free access to the bar via the side entrance through the arc but no accessible WC. The pub is the home for two pool teams. Opens at 12:30m on bank holidays.
