The Red Lion is a welcoming 17th century pub and restaurant offering accommodation near Norwich. Character features include Dutch gables, beams, panelled walls and inglenook fireplaces.

The bar opens from 11am for drinks or coffee. The popular restaurant offers a varied lunch and dinner menu with dishes carefully chosen to make the most of local seasonal produce.

The convenient location south of Norwich ensures the 6 en-suite bedrooms are a popular choice for visitors requiring bed & breakfast. The main A11 road passes close by providing easy access to the city centre in less than 10 minutes by car or bus.

Grade II listed building with several interesting features inside and out. Upstairs windows were believed to have been bricked up to avoid the 1695 window tax. An application was made Saturday 22nd August 1891, by Martha Hilling, for a music and singing licence. In spite of an objection from a local resident, the application was granted.
