A warm and welcoming single-bar pub with two restaurant areas for about 25 diners in each. Beers often include interesting non-local micros, and are served on gravity from the cellar, alongside one or more real ciders. House beer is Rackheath Liberator (GK) and usually one local ale and changing guest ales. Two ciders, one from Gwynt Y Ddraig and changing guest cider.

The restaurant has a large choice of fresh home-cooked and locally sourced food, including seasonal evening specials. There is a pleasant garden with decking, a children's play area and regular live music and events.
