See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Pleasant pub in quiet village. The original tiny snug and main bar, with open fires, beams and pamment flooring, opens up into a large modern wood-floored area with sliding glass doors onto the patio.

An excellent selection of beers for a village pub, with seven handpumps serving an eclectic range and nine keg taps dispensing top quality beers from breweries such as Thornbridge (but no mainstream lagers), and a vast bottled beer menu from around the world. The 'house' beers are contract brewed by local breweries (as at September 2021).

The food menu includes burgers, sandwiches and reasonably-priced favourites such as ham, egg and chips, as well as slightly more up-market dishes, although as the pubs says, it is "Not a gastropub, but a drinkers' pub which serves great food".
