Extended country village pub. Refurbished front bar with large traditional fireplace; fire always lit, nice and warm in winter. A good selection of predominantly local real ales on offer, three on hand pull and one on gravity. The bar has a great atmosphere created by the locals.

Large function and restaurant room (separate bar) at rear opening onto large garden. Quality, locally-sourced food is made on the premises, excellent bar menu dishes. On Sundays only roasts are available, and it's advisable to book.
