The Dog is a comfortable free house, close to the River Ant, and with its own camping and caravan site. The large pub has been significantly refurbished in the last year, and is both child- and dog-friendly. Food is served lunch and evening, and bar snacks in the afternoon, and the ales are usually from local breweries. Live music features occasionally, especially in summer.
