A traditional brick-and-flint village pub, the Chequers is a tremendously popular place with both locals and visitors. A friendly local with strong support from the surrounding community.

The menu comprises a range of good wholesome fare (including vegetarian) at reasonable prices. There is an additional 'specials' menu and regular themed-evenings.

One of the guests beers is from Moon Gazer, others are sourced regionally, but often from Norfolk. In addition to the bar area, there are benches and tables both inside and outside, and a large garden to the rear.
