See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This is a true gem of a pub which is like stepping back 40 years in time. Entry is through a pantile floored room which houses a pool table that then leads to a comfortable bar complete with real fire in season. Beyond is a further bar and beyond that a room with a dart board.

All the rooms are extensively decorated with memorabilia from the brewing and cider making industry, railways and WW2. The beers are provided by Wolf Brewery and are served on gravity from the cellar. There is a good selection of bar games including shove ha’penny and bar skittles.

No WiFi, juke box or one armed bandit, this is a traditional pub with its roots in a bygone age. Enjoy it!
