Traditional pub games feature strongly with pool and darts teams operating. Live football and other sporting events are shown on the TVs.

The pub is ten minutes walk from both the town centre and the Mid Norfolk heritage railway station the longest heritage railway in Norfolk. The larger room is available for private hire.

No real ale as at March 2025, but the publican is hoping to bring it back.
