See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Bustling village local, with adjoining restaurant serving Local and British classic food, this large single bar community pub was saved in 2006 when a consortium of local residents banded together to use their talents and cash to renovate and reopen it.

The pub caters for everyone, with a warm welcome assured, Local and British classic food with a few twists. Great local staff along with some fantastic local real ales and specialities. Look out for very local The Peoples Brewery Ales, award winning and always on sale.

Ales are mostly sourced from local brewers. Two Real Ale Festivals per year, well supported by local breweries Lacon's and Green Jack.
