Built in the 18th century, some original parts remain including a huge open fireplace and wooden beams. It became a pub in 1850 and was later modified and extended (latest additions in 2006). It has a pool table, jukebox & two large TV screens. The bar has 3 real ales from the Greene King list and traditional bar meals are served. Accompanied children allowed in bar area until 8pm. Regular poker and quiz evenings, plus live music on some Saturday evenings. Check the pub's website for the current events diary.
