This large modern pub was built in 1938 to replace an older pub which dated back before 1776. It is open plan now with a large main bar area and a second section at the rear used as a restaurant, functions or extra seating. There a large screen for live sports coverage, a local darts team [tuesday evenings] and a popular Sunday night quiz. It has a large enclosed child friendly garden with play equipment.
