Timber framed local retaining a Lacons sign. Part of the building survived the Great Fire of Badwell Ash in 1723, while the bar was rebuilt after the fire. This village pub has undergone a first class restoration. To the right on entry is the stables restaurant incorporating many features of stables and decorated with items of riding kit. To the left is the smaller bar with high tables and a log burner. Through to the lounge bar with tables and comfortable seating and two log burners.
