Pleasant country pub built in 1710 and remaining in character. One of the smallest freehouses in Norfolk. A real community gem, hosting many local events including the village festival, classic car and tractor runs and biker meets. Airfield in village was where aviator/actor James Stewart was based during World War II, using the Greyhound as his local. Memorabilia adorns the bars. Permanent marquee in large grounds, for outside events. Large car park. Great curries on a Tuesday evening. Sunday evening carvery and basket meals on Friday evenings. Sandwiches and snacks available at other times. Currently closed - reopening date uncertain
