See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Thatched 14th Century inn in a small village near the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire borders with guest beers usually from East Anglia. Situated on the Icknield Way the pub is a popular stop-off for ramblers. The pub has a good reputation for food, served in the tiled bar or restaurant, separated by original open timbering. Quality accommodation is available in the renovated barn alongside the pub. The pub provides the village with essential supplies from a shop established in the car park. One corner of the bar has a small 'tuck' shop.
