Attractive street-corner pub opposite the Porta monastic gatehouse. Full of character inside, it has an eclectric mix of furnishings, local historic photographs and paintings on display. There is a large and welcoming open fireplace with a log fire throughout the winter. Grade II listed building. Note - the opening hours listed are those advertised by the pub, but our members frequently find the pub to be closed when it should be open.
