Part of the Goldthorpe group, this pub faces the green in this 12th century "New Town". It served as a coaching inn between London and Norwich in the early part of the 16th Century. A contemporary feel but still retains the inglenook fireplace and exposed beams in the original part of the pub. There is a large restaurant extension at the rear.
