This pub opened in a new building April 2014. Being new it is a smarter Wetherspoons, on two floors. Regular beers are normal Wetherspoons suspects. Sometimes interesting local beers are offered, but not always. This pub was named after Sir George Jackson, who as one of the principle shareholders, raising funds to make the River Stort navigable.
