No longer offering accommodation or restaurant meals, the Red Cat now concentrates solely on well kept cask ales. Built in 1898 and constructed in local gingerbread carrstone, this traditional village local offers two cask ales. The hotel was purchased by the Irwin family in 1919 and is now run by the fourth generation. Nicely decorated and in a quiet location close to the Wash marshes. Ask about the history of the namesake red cat - if you can believe it. The pub is near National Cycle Route 1, the Sandringham Estate and the West Norfolk coast.
