A 15th century brick and black beamed pub close to the Tuesday Market Place. It has been modernised in a smart fashion but keeping the old features. There is a bar and seating area at the front, and to the rear it opens up with a high beamed roof and large inglenook brick fireplace, there is also seating and a second bar on a mezzanine. Coffee and cake served from 11.30am every day. On Sundays a carvery is available 12-6pm.There is a public (pay) car park next to the pub.
