A classic flint Norfolk town pub. Its Greene King-refurbished interior has been adapted with wherry-themed tables, creating a comfortable space to drink. There is seating outside with a view of the Norman castle mound and its surrounding Iceni hill fort. Food is not available but you are welcome to order in from one of the food outlets in the town. As of August 2025 reported as having no real ale on offer and selling bottles of Old Speckled Hen, Doombar and London Pride
