The interior is highly contemporary but the historic English Civil War era mural has been lovingly retained and highlighted. An impressive Georgian façade with no less than 20 windows dating from the 17th century. There are two separate restaurant areas plus the front bar and a large outdoor courtyard. Up to three cask ales are served.
