This pub underwent a refurbishment in 2017 featuring light colours and a pale wood floor to give the place a much lighter airy feel compared to many of the estate pubs in Harlow. The refurbishment also focused oh the tiger aspect of the name for the signage, although the original butterfly origins of the pub name remains on the wall signs. Real ale is usually limited to Greene King IPA although a seconds hand pump may be in use on occasion. Greene King keg beers may also be available at times. Half the pub is dedicated to a function room finished in the same light décor as the main bar and is available for hire.
