See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Lovingly restored 17th Century pub. One medium sized bar with low, beamed ceiling and sloping wooden floor which is split into three areas: pool table at one end, restaurant at the other and a seating area in the middle with an open fireplace. Food is pub classic with Sunday roasts. Large garden at the back with swings and seating. Live music/karaoke every Friday. The pub is said to be haunted by the ghost of a little boy and was once called The Naked Boy. There used to be a tunnel running from the pub to the church in Great Baddow. Families, dogs, walkers, cyclists and ghost hunters always welcome!
