An old coaching inn established in 1737 and formerly called the King’s Head. Refurbished 2016, it has two bars, a dining room and two letting rooms. The large public bar has low ceilings, housing darts, a pool table and quiz machines. The quiet lounge bar is comfortable and a step down leads into the restaurant area.
