This corner backstreet local in the Romsey Town area of Cambridge is ever popular, serving the community for many years. Three main drinking areas form a U-shape around the central bars. Loyalty cards offer buy seven get the eighth free offers on ales, wine and pizzas. Pool, darts and bar billiards are played, as well as a range of board games. Annual beer festivals are held. Large patio garden with gazebo adjoining the building. Some may regard the annual festive decorations as excessive. In December 2021 the pub was taken on by new licensees promising to maintain the qualities that had made it a "Romsey institution".
