Historic 15th century village inn with several timbered rooms, including a games room with bar billiards, a snug, front and back bar with restaurant area. It offers an extensive food menu and takes pride in sourcing local ingredients where possible. There are open fires in two of the bars and the beer courtyard is a suntrap in warmer weather. A small beer festival is held in Septemer. Four ciders are uaually available on draught. Excellent footpaths are along the river.
