See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A rare gem of a proper village community pub that has been run by the same family for over 45 years. The attractive, half-timbered building dates back to 1640. The back bar doubles as a large function room, which is used by various local interest groups. Busy at meal times, the pub serves a traditional English menu. Regular events include quiz nights and live music with jazz every Sunday evening. The large garden caters for all sorts including archers and campers.
